Vera Kobylińska

Vera Kobylinska was born in 19981. Graduate of Graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Art “genetically contaminated” – already the 7th generation (e.g. grandfather – Szymon Kobyliński, satirist, journalist, known both for publishing in Polityka and educational and historical programs on TV, or Zdzisław Jasińki, a graduate of the academy in Munich, entered in the symbolist trend, known on the auction markets, e.g. from the painting “Sick Mother”). Vera is a Varsovian by birth, a Warmian by choice. She combined her professional life related to art with an equestrian passion. She lives in the countryside, surrounded by her beloved horses, the most common inspiration for creative searches. The main subject of her works (acrylic and oil paintings, drawings on graphic prints) are animals. It is an initial form that provides a pretext for further exploration in color, composition, and the expression given by the use of specific media in a specific artistic gesture. The intention is always to create a work that is modern in expression – an animal is a carrier of more personified feelings, feelings and emotions.
