“In painting, I’m interested in two issues: people and architecture. It can be said that both come down to one question about the relationship between space and its users. Who and how defines urban space and how to “use it”? Particularly interesting to me are public and semi-public spaces. Their great arcades and transparent facades. Contemporary architecture is “transparent” and at the same time reflects its surroundings. Reflections overlap infinitely many times, losing the sense of what is real, leaving the viewer, passerby, resident trapped in delusion and mirage. ”
