Ewa Kukowska

Ewa Kukowska

Ewa Kukowska (née Rogalewska) (born January 22, 1976) is an artist from Tczew. Her works are characterized by a variety of experimental techniques, but she also uses traditional techniques such as oil and acrylic. Looking at her paintings, we can see that their subject matter is very diverse, ranging from realistic nudes, abstract compositions, to surreal landscapes closed behind colorful shutters.
A coherent element of her works is the meeting of exemplary workshop realism with dynamic, non-geometric abstraction.
In 2003, the artist won the Lexmark European Art Prize, then Artist’s Magazine’s “2006 Art Competition” in the USA and “Art Revolution” 2014 in Taipei.
She has exhibited her works at the Louvre in Paris, Galerie Bram and Gallery Kolding in Denmark, SD Gallery, Bellotto, and the Artist’s House in Warsaw. As well as at the Museum in Grudziądz, Galeria Quantum, the City Gallery in Wrocław, the Museum in Mińsk Mazowiecki, the Gallery of Contemporary Art in Kołobrzeg, the Philharmonics in Wejherowo and Białystok.
