Kiejstut Bereźnicki studied at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, where in 1958 he obtained a diploma in the studio of prof. Stanisław Teisseyre. He has been working at this university since 1960, and from 1982 he has been running his own painting studio. In the years 1981-1984 he was the vice-rector. He has been a professor since 1984. He has been participating in exhibitions since 1959, achieving numerous successes, such as: 1st prize at the National Exhibition of Young Painting, Sopot 1965, gold medal at the 6th Festival of Fine Arts, Warsaw 1968, award at the 3rd International Triennial of Realistic Painting, Sofia 1979. He also participated in . in the 3rd Biennale of Young People, Paris 1963 and the 8th Biennale in Sao Paulo 1965, he had numerous individual exhibitions at home and abroad.
