Krzysztof Sprada

Krzysztof Sprada

He painted from an early age, using crayons, pencils and various painting techniques. As a teenager, he co-designed the poster promoting The Urban Jungle tour by The Rolling Stones. At that time, he was acting on the direct commission of the musicians. Designs artistic jewelery and jewelery packaging, organizes jewelery exhibitions, organizes happenings and creates artistic installations. In Tczew, he co-founded the artistic body of Salon des Refusés, aimed at promoting the artistic world of Tczew.
The Warsaw art historian Joanna Kalinowska described his art as follows: The artist’s works are distinguished by their calmness and attention to the exact presentation of the form and structure of the objects. Referring to the tradition of precisely painted Dutch still lifes, they attract the viewer’s attention with their color balance and clear composition. They provoke reflection, a moment of reflection, admiration for the beauty of shapes and the play of light. They are small enclaves of rest in the face of the rush of everyday events and duties.
